These works extend my ongoing exploration of the circle as a structural and psychological anchor within the body.The circular form appears as a concentrated centre—dense, contained, and persistent. It echoes earlier works where the circle holds transformation, but here it begins to behave less like a form and more like a force.

Around it, the surface becomes unsettled. Lines repeat, bend, and accumulate, creating a field of agitation. They move in waves, almost like internal currents, suggesting activity that cannot fully stabilise.
This tension between a fixed centre and a restless surrounding mirrors an internal condition. Something within the body remains constant, while everything around it shifts, reacts, and reorganises.

The marks begin to resemble neural pathways, bodily rhythms, or traces of movement, but they do not resolve into a system. They remain in flux, resisting clarity.

In relation to my broader practice, these works move away from the visible body and focus instead on what precedes it—internal movement, sensation, and accumulation.

The body is not depicted here, but it is implied.
As a centre that holds, and a field that cannot come to rest.
